In accordance with a wish to include more properties in the portfolio, Havfonn invested in a project in Copenhagen, in partnership with Hathon (Halgrim Thon and family). The centrally located site was bought from Freja in 2009.

Havfonn and Hathon work jointly with the project development, lease negotiations, building contracts, funding and following up contractors during building. The project is let out to Scandic, the largest hotel operator in Scandinavia, on a 22 year lease. The hotel opened in June 2022. This is the second joint project that Havfonn has done together with Hathon.
